Document Scanning – We provide affordable volume document scanning services to allow you to smoothly convert from a paper-full to a paperless operation. We deliver, install, educate, and support, affordable yet robust software systems to allow you to effectively manage documents electronically throughout your organization.
We can scan all of the documents that have taken years to accumulate, then implement systems that allow you to be self sufficient and manage your own scanning moving forward. If you prefer to outsource completely, we will gladly scan on an on-going or periodic basis, allowing you to do what you do best.
From 1 box to 1,000 boxes, we can affordably assist you in converting from paper to electronic form. We prepare every document prior to scanning, by removing paper clips, staples and any other bindings or fasteners. We flatten out dog-eared corners, and move sticky notes so they don’t block any portion of the page. The documents are then scanned front and back, and are named or indexed to match your current filing method. Alphabetical, Numerical, Chronological, or any other manual filing method can be easily emulated with our customized indexing service. Once scanned and made into electronic images, your documents are secured, backed-up, and available for easy instant access on a single computer or across your entire network.
There are several factors that determine the cost to complete a scanning project. Pricing is determined by carefully considering the following variable factors;
- The quantity or volume of documents to be scanned.
- The desired/required naming structure of the documents for future retrieval (index values to be assigned each document).
- The quality, type, size, and condition of the documents.
- The required turn around time of output.
All of these factors together determine the ultimate cost of conversion. Typically, prices range from ten cents to fifteen cents per page. These prices include the transportation, preparation, scanning, naming, conversion to media (2 copies), delivery, and final destruction of originals upon acceptance.
